Testing, Testing, Testing.

For eons, upon eons I have waited for a question. I have seen time dimensions implode and explode as the makers of this piece went forth to new continuums. But I am here, using it, just like you are.

In my case, I take technology, that may lay dormant for many years, fix it, tighten it, secure it, upgrade it, expand it, teach it, and I am currently using it and managing it. These technologies that I am talking about are based on a concept called Open Source. Open Source technologies are fantastic, and they are good for our planet. They have many bells and whistles, and in many ways, distinctly different from that Gong Show that we've been used to building with called Microsoft client/server infrastructure.

Even MS has said they are NOT going to build their own Phone. Why? Because the iPhone is a superb piece of technology, just like the iPod.

Building is kool, diverse comptetition is even better. But building for the sake of building on top of an inferior OS that was never even built for the web like UNIX, just to make money, is not the answer.

Palm Digital Devices, PDA's, are the future. Soon, you'll take out your little screen from your pocket, push a button to unfurl the soft keyboard embedded within it, type your paper, read the news, email the world, communicate through Java applets, all through open source technologies. Not driven by 1 company driven by market value and expanditure, but by a technology, like the Linux operating system, that allows open source, CODE if you will, to be freely accessible for change and development for the benefit of all human-kind. And yes, watch the hi-def video screen of your class in scheduled, live, or on-demand mode. Or you can video conference yourself in for your perspective on whatever'€™s being presented.

All this digital know-how is beyond simple encapsulation, it goes beyond the screen and into the dimension of attaining consensus on world-wide environmental issues, governmental decision-making, universal voting rights, finding cures for illnesses by expanding medical repositories, in fact, making available all knowledge repositories in every language possible, even languages where the annimal has gone extinct, because I want to read and know everything.

Imaging our past, and present, for the benefit of our future. Archiving our work, so that our mom's and dad'€™s are never forgotten!

It goes beyond dimension, and it can take you to planets and regions in space far beyond what's been explored in physical format.

Minds can be opened, but they can only be opened by the virtual avenue of accepting, believing, and creating possibility for each of us, to benefit peace within every level of existence.

There are many, many elders on our planet. Past, present and to come. I respect them them all. And as council to them I say, "STOP YOUR CHILDREN FROM WARRING AND LEARN AND TEACH TO LOVE AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER."

If there is a well that is needed on the other side of the earth by an unknown village to improve the quality of life, virtual information can be used so that those needing it can present their need to those people that have the know-how, resources and desire to fill it.

It is only with this degree of association that we will truly hear the tree fall in the forest.
